Themed “Intelligent Connectivity Infinite Multiverse (多元宇宙) ”, the three-day conference concluded on Saturday in Shanghai. Data shows that more than 200 exhibitors participated in the conference. Walking into the exhibition hall, a screen showing characters on an ancient bronze vessel (青銅器) as interpreted by an AI recognition system attracted many visitors. The words inscribed on the reflective surface of the vessel are small and densely packed, and thanks to the AI system, these characters, bent and uneven as they were on the reflective surface, could be clearly identified and displayed for all to understand.
Last year, the system proved its capability by recognizing ancient inscriptions on tortoise shells (龜甲). Now, it has been upgraded and can decipher characters in .........
