A place with less visitors
　　Hong Kong consists of hundreds of islands, some are quite well known to the tourists, others are not. Among all these scenic islands, one is particularly outstanding and less prevalent even to Hong Kong people.
　　At the most easterly point of the Hong Kong territory lies a small island, Ping Chau. It is an offshore island located in the northeast corner of Hong Kong in Mirs Bay and is closer to mainland China than the main landmass of Hong Kong. If not Ping Chau processes the one-of-a-kind sedimentary rock which can only be found in Hong Kong, it stills an under-development fishing village.
　　Visitors need to take a ferry at the Ma Liu Shui ferry pier near the University of Hong Kong in order to approach the island. It takes approximately two hours to get Ping Chau. Although the journey is litter bit longer, you will not get yourself bored while the ship is sailing on the sea. There are no window on the two side of board. A feeling of breeze wafting against your skin will carry away damp and hot weather. Seagulls fly little above the sea and soon disappear out of your sight. You can see couple of small island on your way to Ping Chau. The greenish vegetation cover may comfort the fatigue of your eyes after a week hard working.
　　The beaches is unique attractive, there are not made of tiny fine grains of sand or round peddles without edges and corners. There are consist of layers and layers of shale stone plate tilting toward the sea. If you walk along the beach and looking headward, the scenery that can only be seen in videos lay vividly right in front of you. The series strata of shale plate and the waves of sea water alike, just like those paintings are depicting.
　　The beach may give you more surprises. Since Ping Chau is made of sedimentary rock, there is a greater chance for you to pick a rock and turns out to be a fossil.
　　Ping Chau has not become a scenic spot until 1990s. Most local people either moved to mainland China or immigrate to Hong Kong, however, there are still some locals determined to stay. They skin are tanned and rough owning to the strong sunlight and constant onshore wind. For those who have been to Ping Chau are surprised by their hospitality, kindness. They would give you some useful reminder,like the steep seashore at the front, during what time the tide would cover some part of the beach.
