It\'s a very touching scene mixed with moments of light-heartedness relating to the pig-head underpants. I like the way you describe her compassion for her beloved who is trapped in eternal darkness - sorrow interwined with tender love.
I was a bit frustrated with the male protagonist in Chapter 35(1) (ie JJ Posting 60) when he denied that he loved her. You did describe the internal struggle that he\'s experiencing and his love phobia behind such a denial but I still felt like strangling him after reading that. However, this chapter serves as a poignant reminder of the helplessness of someone trapped in darkness and perhaps I should be more understanding of his fear in becoming even more vulnerable if he declares his love. I just wish that he\'s as brave and courageous in confronting his love as in other aspects of his life where he refuses to be defeated by his disability.
I genuinely hope that when he finally declares his love, it\'s NOT because he has regained his sight. I do hope to witness genuine \"emotional growth\" in the character.
