As a foreign language ,English is the same as other languages,it is a tool of communication.so,if we omit this point in English teaching,surely the significance of English teaching will be lost,neither radically study well in English. But language can be gradually touched and familiarized only in the process of using. Everybody knows that the traditional English teaching only emphasizes repeatedly grammer practicing ,dull writing practicing and exercise practicing,so students become less and less active in studying English,they gradually pay little interests in studying English. instead of that,some students take English as a burden,they even want to give up this subject,because they didn’t find any happiness and fun in studying English.These are the disadvantages and faults it brings in traditional English teaching mode.To a great extent,communication method makes the common English teaching as the main ,in another word,the teaching content makes the daily using language as the main,to cultivate people getting the ability of using foreign language to communicate in daily life.The students’subjective sense,attitude,emotion,cultural civilization and self- cultivation can influence the choice of language style and the play of language function.So the organization of teaching process should consider the students as the main.compare with the traditional teaching mode,the communication method much more incline to make students as the main,and teacher as the assistance.teachers’ responsibility is to afford situation and occasion of communication for students,and help students creatively and freely express and communicate their own sensation and thoughts.
